In this book, historian Catherine Ceniza Choy provides an accessible overview of Asian American history, tracing how Asian communities have shaped and been shaped by U.S. history. The book examines key moments including immigration, labor exploitation, exclusion and immigration laws, war, and the ongoing struggle for civil rights and belonging.
As an organization committed to intersectional feminism, Florida NOW believes that confronting white supremacy within our movements is essential. Without intersectionality, feminism fails to address the full scope of injustice.
This virtual gathering will offer space for thoughtful dialogue, reflection, and collective learning as we continue building a feminist movement rooted in racial justice and collective liberation. OPEN TO ALL.
