FL NOW Book Club Introduction
The FL NOW Book Club meets once a month on the third Monday of the month at 6:30 P.M. Our focus, our lane, is reading books on racism and the histories of people of color.
None of us had much education on Black History for example. It is our history. Black history and racism issues need to be covered in schools. We have read books on Native Americans and their history. We have read a book on Asian/American experience. We are a learning book club. We would love to have you join the book club. Contact Debbie Deland for zoom information.
Below is our book selection criteria and our book schedule through August. All the books are powerful books.
