Meet Our 2024 Endorsed Candidates

FL Senate Seats

Christopher Proia,  FL Senate District 33

Chris understands the needs of Fort Myers and Cape Coral first hand.  He dedicates himself to servant leadership in his daily life and aims to provide meaningful non-partisan care.  This campaign isn’t about political party or affiliation, rather, it’s about understanding and respecting the beliefs and addressing the concerns of ALL Fort Myers and Cape Coral residents indiscriminate of what party they adhere to.  Chris emphatically believes that you cannot sell away the safety and rights of your community, rather than accepting large donations from corporate fat cats to push a subliminal agenda, Chris remains unphased by individuals who don’t have Lee County’s best interest in mind.

FL House Seats

Andi Poli, FL House District 84

We can’t and will not go backward.  In a Florida that is prosperous and successful for all Floridians, the focus must always remain on the future.  We may have big problems but we also have the ability to solve them.  Improving today makes for a better tomorrow.  We can forge a path for a more promising future for ourselves and our young people.

Joseph Casello, FL House District 90

Joe Casello is a Democrat who has served Palm Beach County’s District 90 in the Florida House of Representatives since 2018.  Joe is running for re-election in 2024 in order to continue tackling the most pressing issues we face.  He understands that the cost of living in Florida has grown out of control – which is why he remains focused on implementing common sense solutions to help working families, seniors living on a fixed income and everyone impacted by rising costs.

Jay Shooster, FL House District 91

Tallahassee has become too extreme for the people it represents.  From attacks on women’s rights and public education to neglecting the property insurance crisis, environmental protection, and common sense gun safety measures, it’s time for change.  In my career as a lawyer, I’ve fought for the public interest in the courts.  Now I’m fighting to champion Palm Beach County.

Kelly Skidmore, FL House District 92

Kelly Skidmore has 16 years of legislative experience in Tallahassee and has served as our State Representative since 2020.  Kelly is fighting hard to grow our economy, make healthcare more affordable, increase access to the ballot box and support legislative measures to combat gun violence.  She’s also working to safeguard access to abortion and to bring the cost of property insurance under control.

Katherine in Tallahassee, working for you!  With your support. I will continue my work as a passionate voice for the residents of District 93.  We need to focus on bringing more affordable housing to our area; bringing down homeowners insurance costs; and preserving that which makes our community so unique.  I will also work to physical and mental health care more accessible and affordable, and improve our ability to take care of our seniors and veterans.

Robin Bartleman, FL House District 103

It has been my honor to serve you.  Over the past 4 years, my focus has been on you, not politics.  I have worked across the isle and passed 12 pieces  of legislation to keep you and your families safe (Serena’s Law), to protect renters and college students (Miya’s Law), to ensure you have access to affordable healthcare (Kid Care Expansion), to protect our environment, to keep our first responders safe, and to help improve our schools.  I have also brought home millions of dollars to our community and helped individuals when they are in need.

Marco Reyes, FL House District 119

The cost of living throughout the state of Florida has gotten way out of control.  Miami-Dade County in particular has seen huge rises in the cost of living these past few years that have made it almost impossible to pay rent as well to keep food on the table.  Insurance companies have left Florida and the ones that you are able to get insurance with have fees that are just too high.  Becoming a homeowner or even a renter has become out of reach for too many people.  We must tackle these issues at the state level so we can see an improvement in our quality of life in HD119, Miami-Dade and the whole state.

Michael “Erika Rose” Travis, FL House District 120

This is me.  If you ask yourself if there is anything you can do to help, the answer is yes.  The easiest way is to get out and vote.  Beyond that that share the word.  The GOP wants to distract us from the real problems by pointing at the drag queens.  Well here I am!  Look at me!  I will bring up the real problems facing our society.
