DESCRIPTION:When: Saturday\, September 22\, 2018 from 11-12:30\n\nWhere: Delray Beach Public Library (downtown at 100 West Atlantic Ave by SW 2nd Avenues)\n\nNOWPBC\, the faculty and graduate students from FAU Center Women\, Gender and Sexuality Studies\, and LBGTQIA members of the Compass Community Center invite you to our program\,  What is the distinction between Sex and Gender? What are the issues impacting this distinction?\n\nIn recent years this fundamental aspect of our humanness has and continues to emerge for definition\, well-being\, equality and respect. A knowledgeable panel will discuss in-depth what differentiates a person’s sex (the anatomy of the reproductive system and secondary sex characteristics) from a person’s gender (the cultural roles and identities constructed by oneself and society).
