We are all angry and frustrated at the injustice just perpetrated on American women. Not only has an unqualified candidate been confirmed for the Supreme Court, but Brett Kavanaugh will also forever carry a legacy of mistrust in his treatment of women and any judgments involving sexual harassment and abuse.
Orlando NOW Vice President, Kim Porteous is fighting back, and you can too!
Orlando chapter Vice President, Kim Porteous has chosen to channel her anger into action. Through her inspiration, we challenge YOU to do the same. Kim got her first tattoo today as a commitment to feminism. Do not fear – this is not the challenge (but it’s a pretty awesome tattoo!)
She has also committed to 38 hours before November 6 to work on campaigns to get the right people elected in Florida. This is where all Florida NOW members can help.
38 hours is less than 10 hours/week between now and the election. How can you help?

Why 38? We are working to make Florida the 38th state to ratify the ERA! That’s our magic number but without the right people in the Florida Legislature and Governor’s office, our struggle will be compounded.
Florida NOW PAC has endorsed over 100 candidates. Choose the candidates you are most passionate for and:
– Phone bank
– Knock on doors
– Work in the local office
– Hand out literature
– Use social media to spread the word in your community
Don’t have 38 hours? Then donate $38 to the Florida NOW PAC and we’ll help those candidates.
